Refunds for ebooks
On rare occasions a customer has technical difficulties with purchased ebooks. If this is the case, I will issue a refund of your ebook purchase because you are unable to access the content. To qualify for a full refund, contact me within 72 hours of purchase.
Replacing lost ebook files
As a customer, you can always contact me about replacing an ebook file or files. Barring collapse of civilization, my abduction by pirates, or other calamities, I will be able to provide you with replacements for years to come. Common reasons for requesting replacements include death of computer/reading device, just can't remember where you put the files, and an incompletely downloaded garbled file.
If you still have the email with your original download link, click on that. The system will let you request additional downloads.
If you don't have your email with the original download link, contact me and tell me who you are and what you need. It would be most helpful if you could tell me the email address you used when sending payment. This will let me quickly search my sales records and confirm your purchase. Typically I will be able to reply to your request within 24 hours if not sooner.
Refunds for trade paperbacks
To request a refund for trade paperbacks purchased from my website, you will need to pay the return shipping. The book or books will need to be in their original sealed wrappers. I only ship books in their original factory wrappers. I will then credit you the price you paid for a returned book as long as it is in its wrapper.
Reader satisfaction
Generally, because Union of Renegades and Rys Rising: Book I are free downloads, readers who come back to continue the fantasy series have decided that my fiction satisfies their quality standards. Anyone who does not like my work makes that decision with the free sample. This system works well for both readers and me. Readers can find out if I am worth their time and money, and I know that my customers have developed a genuine interest in my work. This means I can focus on serving them with quality content at reasonable and competitive prices.
As a small creative entrepreneur I do not feel able to offer refunds just because you claim not to like my novels. This would leave me vulnerable to the small segment of people who like to avoid paying for things they want. Everyone has ample opportunity to assess my fiction writing abilities before spending any money. No work of fiction can be guaranteed to please everybody. For this reason I do not offer a "no questions asked" refund policy on ebooks.
